Meet 𝗠. 𝗲𝘁 𝗠𝗺𝗲. 𝗗𝗼𝗱𝗼, the beloved 𝗟𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝘇𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗺𝗮 figures who represent the hard work of countless Mauritian couples. 💪👫

To lend a helping hand, 𝗟𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝘇𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗺𝗮 is proud to introduce a new series dedicated to M. et Mme. Dodo’s daily chaos: 𝗭𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶 𝗞𝗶𝗽𝗼𝘂𝗸𝘄𝗶. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀! 😍

Full day and hungry family? No worries! In just 30 mins, M. & Mme. Dodo whipped up a delicious meal.

Here’s how in 3 easy steps:

1. Microwave La Caze Mama dal puris.

2. M. Dodo slices coconut and places them into an oven tray for 15 mins at 180°. He blends them with 1 tsp tamarind paste, garlic, mint leaves, salt, water and chilli to taste into a delicious “satini coco” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lcem9QeGIk).

3. Meanwhile, Mme. Dodo peels and thinly slices cucumbers, removes seeds, sprinkles with salt, and lets sit for 15 minutes. Next, she rinses them with water which she pats dry. In a bowl, she mixes yogurt, crushed garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, vinegar, salt, and pepper to which she adds the sliced cucumbers and finely chopped mint that she mixes gently. Chill and garnish with mint before serving.

Monday, the start of another busy week. M. Dodo is in charge of making dinner tonight while Mrs. Dodo heads to her yoga class. But there’s a twist: the family is vegetarian today! Mr. Dodo scratches his head, wondering what he can whip up quickly.

Then he spots a La Caze Mama pack of boulettes chouchou in the fridge, winking at him. With a smile, he takes the bag and heats it over the stove for just 20 minutes. And voilà! Mme. Dodo returns home to a happy and healthy family dinner.
