To celebrate the golden jubilee of independence of Mauritius, Delicious Mauritius is trying to find out ways that Mauritian cuisine has evolved in Australia. Starting this April, we will run a Starting this April, we will run a year long competition where you will be able to tell us how you have adapted Mauritian cuisine in your home. At the end of the month, recipes submitted will be put up for a vote on Facebook and the winner will be rewarded with a voucher of $50 to spend at ‘Delicious Mauritius’ at the Dandenong market or online on groceries. The winners dish will also feature as a special for that month on our menu at the market. At the end of the 12 months, the 12 winning dishes will go up against each other and the dish with the highest number of votes will be crowned the overall winner. and become a part of our permanent menu.
